Ive studied fine art for years and I absolutely love it as well as photography. Changing the earring in my cartilage?

I am not that sure about it, I have never been asked to do that. But maybe you can type your description on the computer and glue it on the back of your drawing, or staple it. I am thinking you are not a computer "geek" so you would not know but there is probably some way to enter your paper to the computer and write on it. I have just recently bought a new tatical gear jacket since I go airsofting. I've skimmed through airsoft websites with patches with outlines of curvy women on saying "Banger" or ones saying "INFIDEL" on etc and none really fit my black tatical gear. However I also do historical re-enacting and have some SS stuff. I have a patch with the SS runes on, which actually are traditional runes called 'Sig', and a Totenkopf, which is a traditional german skull. Should I get a tattoo or a piercing?

Personally, I would suggest getting a piercing, and I say this because I started out with a piercing first and if I felt the need to take it out I could easily replace it with a clear retainer. Unlike a tattoo, you of course cannot do this if you regret it unless you're willing to pay $100-$1,000 for removal. I had a lip piercing once, snakebites actually, and didn't like it much because I had too much attention drew to me, but at least I could take it out. BUT, the hole didn't close up completely, so now I'm stuck with a permanent hole in my lip. The only reason I don't suggest the tattoo is because of the pain. I have a foot tattoo, and the pain was excruciating, but it sounds like the better option IF you don't want a hole stuck in your lip forever. Both of them have their consequences, so at the end of the day, it's your ultimate decision.

I am a little confused about this website/blog. I wanted to follow up on a question that I saw about sight words as a beginning reading method. I don't really remember how I learned to read, but my parents learned with Dick and Jane. This was basically a sight word book. More recently, my own daughter brought home a list of sight words with flash cards. We were supposed to teach her 10 words per week until she knew all of the words. I tried this method for days with dismal results. A friend of mine suggested a book that she was using . The book is called I CAN READ NOW! They want you to have a good general education but the important thing is your portfolio. GCSEs tend not to matter so much, but the only reason art unis list them as requirements is because there are a lot of different ways to get onto an art course, so it's their way of checking that you are smart enough in general. If you do A levels you will normally need to do a foundation course for another year after that too before you go to uni, or you can skip A levels and do an AVCE or something like that, so there are options. And to get onto any of those courses you need the right GCSEs, so if you complete that course then the uni will care about that more than your specific GCSE grades. And if you do A levels they won't look at GCSEs at all, so do your best but really don't worry about it.

I was born in Egypt in a Christian family where my mom was like a super religious person which to be honest annoyed me, now I am an Atheist and I live here in the US and I am studying to be an engineer. My mom used to think that drinking any alcohol even just a half cup of beer on occasions like new year’s eve and such is bad and will make you go to that place she believes in called hell. Also in Egypt it is mostly Muslims and all of them were like gosh super extremists towards alcohol and if you tell one of them you drank a glass of beer on New Year eve they will be rude to you and call you an infidel and might try to harm you. More over even Christian church people like priests in Egypt tell people on New Year eve that if they celebrate by drinking just a very small amount of beer (not drunk) and they die at that moment they will go to hell which sounded very extremist to me. Personally I think drinking like a glass of beer or wine on occasions or from time to time is good and relaxing as long a person doesn’t get drunk. Also I think sometimes if you are in a restaurant with like your partner or wife or girlfriend and you drink a glass of wine it would be pretty romantic, I am not saying get drunk at all. So why in the world are some people that extremist? I just don’t get it. Do such people have had bad life before or what? Why do they act like that? Is it cultural issues or what?Any opinions? Advice on how to remove the RING from a Nostril BCR?

I had my nose pierced about 4 weeks ago with a 1.2mm BCR. I have tried for the past two and a bit hours to take this ring out and replace it with a stud (as i have prom in two days) and it just wont budge! I got the ball out fine and there was no hassle with that but i cannot remove the ring as the gap where the ball was seems too small to pull out from inside my nose... I have tried needle nose pliers but it just won't work! I have read on here to go to a piercer but i'm sure they'd refuse to change it as the healing time is 3 months and i've only had it done a month.

Because I'm odd, I pierced my own nose on saturday, I went from a stud to ring the next day. Keep cleaning it with salt and water solution, if after a week it hasn't cleared up take out the ring and put the stud back in. If it doesn't work take it out completely and let it grow over and try again. Hope it helps.

It's definitely doable, but it's not easy. My mom's graduating with her BA this year, and has been working full time (in a high stress field) and going to school for almost ten years. It's slow going, especially if you can't take more than a class or two at the same time. You'll be stretched thin for a while, no doubt about it. It's also frustrating if you want to have a social life, but that's the price you pay when you're working that hard. You really have to want it. It'll be worth it when you finish.

I rescued a yearling stud colt, well I BOUGHT him and his same-aged pasture-mate, two days ago. They are both very underfed, but very good natured. I let them settle for a day, then wormed them with Equimectrin, and they both have passed massive amounts of round worms. Today when I went out, I noticed the smaller of the two's sheath is very swollen. I was born in Egypt in a Christian family where my mom was like a super religious person which to be honest annoyed me, now I am an Atheist and I live here in the US and I am studying to be an engineer. My mom used to think that drinking any alcohol even just a half cup of beer on occasions like new year’s eve and such is bad and will make you go to that place she believes in called hell. Also in Egypt it is mostly Muslims and all of them were like gosh super extremists towards alcohol and if you tell one of them you drank a glass of beer on New Year eve they will be rude to you and call you an infidel and might try to harm you. More over even Christian church people like priests in Egypt tell people on New Year eve that if they celebrate by drinking just a very small amount of beer (not drunk) and they die at that moment they will go to hell which sounded very extremist to me. Personally I think drinking like a glass of beer or wine on occasions or from time to time is good and relaxing as long a person doesn’t get drunk. Also I think sometimes if you are in a restaurant with like your partner or wife or girlfriend and you drink a glass of wine it would be pretty romantic, I am not saying get drunk at all. I'd say the piercing. Piercings give you more option to play around with what style you want to put on while tattoos are permanent and hurt like hell to get, not to mention it's more expensive. Also, if you ever grow out of tattoo and want it removed, it hurts even more to have it removed and will leave a scar. It can take hours to get a tattoo too.

My right ear has been swollen ever since I stopped stretching?

I stopped stretching my ears and took out my 0g plugs in January. I remember experiencing problems with my ears once I stretched to 0g such as bleeding, swelling, crust, and pain. So I decided to take out my plugs and return to normal ear piercing size. My left ear has healed perfectly fine and I could wear hoops and heavy earrings but my right ear is still swelling to this very day and it hurts when I wear heavy earrings. I left a stud in my right ear for about a week and started cleaning it with a q tip dipped in alcohol but it doesn't seem to be helping. It also seems to be secreting discharge from the hole. Any tips on healing? I tried going to the doctor but it didn't really help.

Why is there a lump inside my earlobe?

I got my ears peirced for the first time 11 weeks ago. I took out the original studs after 6 weeks. I have been able to wear straight post earrings no problem, and about a month ago I tried putting in earrings that are curved. It didn't work so well, as my ear started bleeding. I stop trying, cleaned my ear and put my other one back in. I have left it in for about a month now. I'm not sure if I should be taking it out and cleaning my ear still... Anyways, I took it out today to put in new earrings and I cleaned my ear. When I went to put my new earring in I felt a lump in my earlobe just below the piercing hole. I of course freaked out and started shaking and getting dizzy. The new earring went in just fine, but its a little shorter then my usual earrings and because of the lump it hardly stuck out the back of my ear. So, I took it out put my other one back in. I'm just wondering why there is a lump in my earlobe. It feels like its almost gone now that my other earring is back in, but it still is there a little. I'm trying not to mess with it, but I don't know what to do. Is it from not taking my earrings out and cleaning my ear? Is it puss build up in my earlobe or something else? Is it going to go away and if It does and I pull my earring out again is it going to come back? I waited 24 years to get my ears pierced and now it seems like more trouble then its worth. I'm afraid to try to pull my earring out again, as I almost fainted in my bathroom. Should I just leave my earring in for a few days? Is my other ear going to do it too?

Well I got both of mine done in mid May, and for a week mine were never swollen until randomly one would swell up so bad for no reason and then go down. But they could be sore because they take what seems like forever to heal. My piercer told me that with any cartilage piercing you should expect that "white" stuff because that means its healing. The blood could be from changing the piercing multiple times, my tragus does the same thing when i accidentally hit it or lay on my side wrong while sleeping. But whatever you do, don't take the piercing out because if it does happen to be infected, it won't be pretty. Just keep doing the warm sea salt soaks and rotate the piercing to make sure you get the sea salt water inside the hole. And also wash with antibacterial soap when in the shower. That seems to help with all piercings. Try to keep your hair away from it and wash it thoroughly to make sure that your shampoo or conditioner doesn't affect the healing process anymore. (:

Ear Piercing Allergy- What do I do?

I am soon going to get my ears pierced. For the third time. The first time, I got my ears pierced at Claires with 14k gold posts stamped 14k on the actual post (yes I can read that small). After a few days, the holes started leaking this nasty yellow pus, and my mom put alcohol on them and nothing helped so we took the earrings out amd the holes closed over. I have been cleaning my ears twice a day during that time, and I did not touch my ears. A few years later, I got them pierced again, with gold plated studs. Same story. I really really want my ears pierced. My grandmother sent me 4 pairs of 14-18k gold earrings, and I want to wear them. I'll be fine once my holes heal. I don't know what earrings to try when getting my ears pierced though! I don't want to re-pierce again. My mom suggested that she pierce my ears herself with a sterilized needle and thread floss through like people did in her native Ukraine, but I don't know! Any suggestions?

I don't know how you are hygiene wise, but I would never let a "friend" or anyone without a license puncture my face. Your risk of infection is greatly increased, and the positioning of the piercing is much more flattering when done professionally. Save money and wait for parental consent. Nose rings are grimey and trashy looking anyway on little kids, which you must be if you can 't even legally get a piercing. This wasn't rude, just honest.
