Do any Christians/Muslims/Jews here still believe in stoning/burning heretics/infidels?

It's been a long time since Christians killed anyone in the name of their faith (although some cult members have been charged in fatal cases of child abuse), and even longer since Jews did. We occasionally hear of someone sentenced to death in a Muslim country for blasphemy or for conversion to Christianity, but I don't remember hearing of any such sentence actually being carried out. (I am talking about "legal" actions here, not mob violence.) In any case, this Christian doesn't approve killing or otherwise punishing unbelievers. She prays for them--and for those who have persecuted others in the name of faith.
