Someone called me an infidel...?

Someone and i were talking about religion and they called me an infidel when i told them i believed in the holy bible, Jesus is my savior, ive been baptized and that i did not follow the quaran or dont believe in Muhammad. How can i be an infidel if the dictionary states that it means no believer? Unless in islam/muslim it refers to all non believers of Muhammad. Then in that case if thats what it is then yep im a proud infidel i guess?
