I just got my lip pierced two days ago and it's really bothering me?

The lady put a stud in it and I know they put a long one in to leave room for swelling but it's rubbing against my tooth and screwing it up and i keep accidentally biting on it when I eat cause it gets in the way and it's just been really annoyly long and only after one day I started getting a tooth ache. So should I switch it to a plastic more fitted stud? Or just take it out.
